Wayne Rooney offers 'to give up booze' if wife Coleen 'quits her holiday splurges' following drink drive scandal

They're said to be trying to work things out after his latest PR disaster.

And as Wayne Rooney and wife Coleen attempt to move-on from his drink drive scandal, which also saw him accused of behaving improperly with pretty lettings agent Laura Simpson, the footballer has reportedly offered his other half a deal.

According to The Sun , the 31-year-old Everton striker has offered to give up booze if she reigns in her splurges on holidays which often see him left alone at home alone.

Speaking to the paper an insider revealed the former England captain has told his wife he will pack in his drinking if she can reign in her habit of jetting off - which so far totals 10 this year.

A source told the publication: “He’s pointed the finger at her over the number of holidays she takes and she raised questions about his nights out with the lads.”

The couple who are expecting their fourth child together have been said to be at breaking point after Wayne was caught at the wheel of Laura's car on Friday morning.

And things seemingly got worse over the weekend as the pretty businesswoman revealed they had kissed and cuddled during a wild night out on Thursday, while his wife of nine years was abroad on holiday with their three sons.
