Last week, the Ultra-Premium Macallan Malt Whiskey range was introduced to high end discerning whiskey lovers with an exclusive 3 course dinner at a leading restaurant; R.S.V.P. Lagos. This exclusive event was hosted by Chef Vince Turnbull and Motunrayo ‘Mo’, the Macallan Brand Ambassador.
The event was a converging point for carefully targeted invitees ranging from CEOs, social elites and key influencers in lifestyle and entertainment. The guests were treated to a lavish 3 course meal paired with different flavors of the Macallan 1824 and Fine Oak range which is famous for its exceptional oak casks that produce a distinct, single malt taste.
Inspired by The Macallan’s 194 years heritage, the venue set up took on a prestigious vintage style including an outdoor classic antique library that showcased a look and feel of “The Easter Elchies House in Speyside Scotland”. The Easter Elchies House is one out of the Macallan 6 pillars Built in year 1700 with a beautiful Scottish and locally quarried sandstone style, crow stepped gables and a turret. It oversees the distillery and later became open to the public in 1985 and There is a reason this house appears on every bottle.
The guests were taken on a sensorial journey to explore the different flavor notes that make each variant of the series unique. This was supported with brand education by Dada (Macallan Brand Ambassador, South Africa) on the history and heritage of Macallan.
