“I listen to Fela’s music a lot” – Pastor Adeboye’s son, Leke reveals

Oluwagbemileke is the son and Personal Assistant of the General Overseer Worldwide of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor E.A Adeboye, but he has not allowed religion to suppress his love for music.
Leke, revealed he has a passion for music and has made clear his favourite genre and artists.

Speaking with Tribune Online at a media parley organised by One Halleluyah Records, said, “Pastor Kunle Ajayi is my music mentor and we have been to different places to research on music.”
Leke, who is one of the frontiers of the label, also said, “I won’t lie, I listen to Fela’s music a lot and by my assessment, his works are one of the greatest compositions you ever find in the world. You cannot get bored with his works. So, Nigeria has produced great musicians with good music and I am hoping we leverage on this fact.”

He added, “Music is very important and it is beyond what is being pumped out to the society. It is beyond entertainment because it connects to the mind and has effect. This is why we are committed to support the gospel music industry, especially young talents from RCCG. Personally, I love rap music to a fault and I am happy we have a rap artiste under the label. I pray God will help us in achieving our dreams by supporting talents in producing works that will affect lives positively and win souls for the kingdom,”
