Prince Harry and Prince William's "double act" set to end because "they no longer rely on each other" now that Kate and Meghan are in their lives

Prince Harry and Prince William
Prince William and Prince Harry, who used to do everything together and attend official engagements together, are likely to put an end to their double act as they no longer depend on one another as they used to as boys.

The two brothers are reportedly set to split paths as the Duke of Cambridge and the Duke of Sussex now respectively have Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle as partners they can count on.
It is also understood that the difference in roles the two are set to take up means the next logical step is to proceed solo, The Mirror reports.

A source close to the brothers and quoted by the Sunday Times said
The brothers have leaned on each other and looked after each other since their mother died. But now they have their own families, they no longer rely on each other as before.

It is understood that William, who is soon to succeed his father Charles as Prince of Wales, will have to take on "a lot of extra responsibilities", another source said, something Harry, on the other hand, won’t have to worry about.

The source said the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have "nothing like”" the responsibilities William is readying to assume, and that they are "ambitious about forging their own plans."
The two brothers, who have stood up for one another since the tragic death of their mother Princess Diana, will nonetheless carry on working together on their charitable royal foundations, which provide support for people affected by mental health issues, veterans and other vulnerable people.
