Identities of 8 Edo indigenes killed in accident shortly after they arrived Nigeria from Spain revealed (photos)

8 people, five males and three females, who just arrived Nigeria from Spain for a wedding 
were killed in an accident yesterday. The identity of some of the victims has now been revealed. 


The accident involving a white Toyota Hiace bus belonging to Iyare Motors and a blue Mack truck occurred opposite the Wichtech Roofing and Pipes on Lagos-Ibadan expressway. The passengers in the Toyota bus had just arrived from Spain and chartered the bus to take them to Benin City for the wedding, but they were involved in an auto crash before they could get to their destination.

Two of the male victims have been named as Paul and Sunny. They are from Orhionmwon LGA, Edo state.

 The victims died at the accident scene while one died later in the hospital. Their remains have been deposited at the morgue of the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OOUTH), Sagamu. Two others rescued alive are receiving treatment at OOUTH.
