R. Kelly has been evicted from two of his Georgia properties over unpaid rent, the Atlanta-Journal Constitution has reported.
Filings with the magistrate court of Fulton County from Feb. 13 show that the Grammy-winning R&B singer has been evicted from two homes he was renting in Johns Creek.
According to the court documents, the homes Kelly has been evicted from are on Old Homestead Trail and Saint Devon Crossing.
The singer reportedly owed more than $31,000 in past due rent payments to SB Property Management Global. Court filings show Kelly paid $3,000 a month in rent at Saint Devon Crossing and $11,542 in rent at the Old Homestead Trail property. The homes are just two miles apart.
The 51-year-old has come under fire in recent months because of the properties. In 2017, the properties were ransacked by a former associate who allegedly broke into the two homes and sold the items that were inside.
Spokesperson for the singer, Trevian Kutti, told the AJC that Kelly has "no comment at this time" on the dispossessory affidavits filed against him.
