Paedo mum sexually abused boy, 11, on camera and her sick footage was then sold on market stall

A paedophile mother has been jailed for 15 years after sexually abusing an 11-year-old boy on camera.
Sick footage of Dawn Davies, 37, molesting the youngster was sold on a market stall, Manchester Crown Court heard.
The traumatised youngster was subjected to a campaign of ‘corruption and depravity’ after being lured to Davies’ flat.
On a string of occasions the mother-of-three violently assaulted the boy - and would threaten to ‘hurt’ him and falsely report him to police if he complained.
The court heard the incidents occurred between January 2012 and April 2014 - and that one was witnessed by one of his friends.
In a statement to police the boy, now 16, said he was left ‘frightened’ by his ordeal, adding: "She hurt me. She started laughing when she done it."
Manchester Crown Court heard the pair were filmed as Davies abused the boy and footage was downloaded onto blank discs from a home PC before being sold on a market stall.
Police alerted by a tip off raided her flat in Salford and found computer equipment had been used by Davies’ partner to make searches for ‘nude teen girls’ and ‘nudist teen boys.’
Specialist software had been used to delete other material.
Davies denied 12 charges of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity but was convicted after he testified against her before a jury.
Her defence said she'd had a ‘troubling’ upbringing, was ‘vulnerable’ and ‘easily manipulated’.
She showed no emotion as the judge Mr Recorder Peter Atherton said it was a ‘rare case’ - adding that the child had been abused to ‘an appalling extent.’
He told Davies: "This was corruption and depravity at the expense of a vulnerable child - behaviour of extreme wickedness.
"The story he revealed was truly shocking and the amount of distress he suffered was very concerning.
"He was used in images and videos which were sent round to others. They were shared and solicited.
"You threatened him into not telling anyone. He would physically try to fight you off but you always won.
"This was an extremely distressing account to hear for everyone in court, more so for the child involved."
The judge continued: “You subjected him to severe psychological and physical trauma, which I have no doubt will affect this young boy's behaviour for the rest of his life.
"It was sustained and repeated assault.
"You showed no remorse at any stage and have denied everything. You don’t seem to understand the pain you have subjected this boy to and the consequences which will follow.
"You have no real understanding of the damage you have subjected him to. I considered making your sentence longer.”
