CNN Takes A Thinly Veiled Dig At Nigeria Over Buhari’s “Continued” Absence (Watch Video)

CNN Takes A Thinly Veiled Dig At Nigeria Over Buhari's Long Absence From The Country
Prominent television medium, Cable News Network (CNN), may have taken a thinly veiled dig at Nigeria over the continued absence of President Muhammadu Buhari from the country.
In its latest edition of “The Global Public Square (GPS)”, a foreign affairs show anchored on the television medium by Fareed Zakaria, the CNN made a mockery of Africa’s most populated nation.
During the Quiz and Trivia segment of the programme, the American journalist, asked: “The head of state from which country has not set foot in his homeland in over two months?”
The options were given as Saudi Arabia, Cuba, Nigeria and Syria.
It went on to tick the option ‘Nigeria’.
President Buhari has been in the UK since May 7, where he has been receiving medical treatment.
Though he has been rarely seen in public since his trip, news of his improving health and wellbeing has been widely reported as well as photos of him receiving seven governors that recently paid him a visit in London.

Meanwhile, some Nigerians have reacted to this in what they perceive as mockery of the country by the CNN.
