U.S. President Donald Trump arrived in Japan on the first stop of his five-nation tour of Asia on Saturday.
Trump seeks to present a united front with the Japanese against North Korea as tensions continue over Pyongyang’s nuclear and missile tests.
The president was received by the Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe shortly after he spoke to U.S. and Japanese forces at Yokota air base where he stressed the importance of the alliance to regional security.
