Governor Fayose releases petrol in the state government house to the public, says "I cannot be keeping fuel in the government house while our people keep suffering''
To reduce the effects of the current fuel scarcity in Ekiti State, the state Governor, Ayo Fayose has directed that 80 percent of the petrol in the Government Fuel Dump released to two petrol stations in Ado Ekiti, to be sold to the public at the control price of N145 per litre.
The governor, who made this known through his verified Twitter Handle said "The maximum a single individual can buy will be 25 litres."
He said; "I cannot be keeping fuel in the govt house dump while our people keep suffering. I have asked them to pump out 80% of the petrol in the Govt House Fuel Dump to be sold at the control price of N145. I am going to town to locate the two petrol stations where the petrol will be sold."
The governor lamented the hardship being faced by Nigerians as a result of the petrol scarcity.
He said "the APC led federal government has turned the joy of Nigerians to groaning. People can not travel to meet their families because of the wickedness of this APC government. This hardship is too much for Nigerians to bear at this time and it is obvious that President Muhammadu Buhari does not have solution to the fuel scarcity."

5 Easy Ways to Spot Nigerians When You Are Abroad
Do Nigerians really like going abroad? We see hundreds and thousands of people at the International Airports everyday, but what percentage of the population are these people? How many Nigerians even have passports? Perhaps it is the ‘eternal’ unfavorable situation of the economy that makes it so hard to save for such, or the fear of being in the sky for way too long, but the few who are traveling this Christmas are probably traveling locally.
Thankfully, some Nigerians actually own a passport and really like to travel. The thing about these ‘travelling’ Nigerians though is that, for better or for worse, they tend to stand out when they travel abroad.
Believe it or not, Nigerians have some very unique habits that are dead giveaways of our nationality. We’re not saying there’s anything wrong with being Nigerian, but we certainly have our fair share of eccentricities and oddities that can rub other cultures the wrong way. Here are 5 easy ways to spot Nigerians anywhere else in the world.
Spot the flashy and glamorous outfits
Travelling outside the country seems to be a sort of achievement for most Nigerians, so,
when they do travel out, they tend to wear a kind of confidence that comes off as them being all “bad and boujee”. From the bounce in their steps to the flamboyant attire, full facial makeup and glorious hair, you just have to notice them. The woman comfortably strolling Dubai mall in high heeled pumps, full makeup, and flashy jewellery is probably Nigerian; also, the man in the well-tailored suit waiting his turn at the London Eye is certainly Nigerian.

So loud… So, so LOUD!
Nigerians are popular for talking loud in public places when visiting abroad. Walk into a tourist bar and ask any of the officials how they can tell that a customer is Nigerian and noisemaking is the first thing they’ll mention. Nigerian just can’t be bothered with comportment. They are the “classic” drama queens causing a scene in public. If they find a thing funny, they will not just laugh, they will squeal. They will take their phone call while in a bus or train and talk very loudly. Worse is if they are in a group, you will be forced to listen to their gist. And do not even try to signal at them to keep their voices down, they will turn on you or give you the evil eye.

Zero sense of personal space & the need to ask inane questions
Nigerians are bold and friendly. And while this might seem like an admirable quality, their outgoing personality often startles the more reserved people like Germans and Brits. Unfortunately, Nigerians will not bat an eyelid when it comes to communicating with strangers. The Nigerian will be the one asking for directions on Oxford Street or questioning someone at the Trafalgar Square to know why there are not as many pigeons as reported.

What is a tip?
Americans have the obsessive culture of tipping so much that it is included in the bill most times. People in other countries remain courteous with their tips, however, Nigerians don’t. The few who do in the country do so to either appreciate the waiter or create an impression. Likewise, when they do travel, they do not adopt to the tipping culture. In fact, they sometimes kick up a fuss when they realize they have been forced to pay a certain percentage of tip. Even if they are out with foreign friends abroad, you really cannot guilt a Nigerian into tipping

Road is road… for walking carelessly
The one you see walking on the bike lanes abroad are most likely Nigerians. But can you really blame them? In Nigeria obeying traffic laws is already a huge strain for them, talk less of pedestrian laws that they know nothing of.

Two senators call for Trump's resignation over sexual assault, harassment allegations
Two Democratic senators have called for President Donald Trump's resignation over the weekend.
Sens. Cory Booker and Jeff Merkley both cited the multiple accusations from women of sexual harassment and assault against Trump.
In an interview with Vice after a campaign rally for Democratic Alabama Senate candidate Doug Jones, Booker said: "I just watched Sen. Al Franken do the honorable thing and resign from his office. My question is, why isn't Donald Trump doing the same thing -- who has more serious allegations against him, with more women who have come forward. The fact pattern on him is far more damning than the fact pattern on Al Franken."
Democratic Senator Al Franken of Minnesota announced he would resign Thursday after multiple women came forward accusing him of groping and forcibly kissing them.
Senator Jeff Merkley also joined the call in an email fundraising pitch.
He said in the email: "I want to be absolutely clear. Donald Trump should resign the presidency.
"At least 17 women have accused Donald Trump of horrific sexual misconduct, and I believe them. Moreover, he's bragged on tape about that behavior. This is not about politics. This is not about policy. I disagree with him on many things, but this is not about that."
Just as Merkley said, several women have accused Trump of sexual harassment, and a 2005 recording of Trump bragging about groping women was released during the 2016 presidential campaign. Trump attributed his language on the tape to "locker room talk" and has denied any wrongdoing.
Just last week, Independent Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont also suggested the President should do the honourable thing and resign like others.

Facebook bans women for posting 'men are scum' after series of global harassment scandals
Following the multiple sexual harassment and abuse scandals across the globe, Facebook has been suspending women for “hate speech” against men after posting variations of the phrase “men are scum”.
Despite Facebook’s chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg warning of a potential backlash against women as scandals rock companies and political institutions, the social network continues to ban women speaking out against men as a group.
New York-based standup comic Marcia Belsky was banned in October for 30 days from Facebook for posting “men are scum” as a comment on her friend Nicole Silverberg’s photo album detailing the abuse Silverberg had received after writing a list of ways men can treat women better on Twitter.
Facebook says that threats and hate speech directed towards a protected group violate its community standards and therefore are removed. The social network told the Daily Beast that “men are scum” was a threat and therefore should be removed.
Facebook said that it is working hard to remedy harassment issues, and has repeatedly stated that it wants the social network to be a safe and respectful space for all. After footage of shootings, murders, rapes and assaults were streamed live on the site, Facebook said it was adding 3,000 extra moderators to its staff and that it would refine its moderation policies.

12 People Olamide Helped To Become Rich And Famous In Nigeria (With Pictures)
An adage says to whom much is given, much is expected. From 2010 when he released his debut single “Eni Duro” till this moment, Olamide Baddo has been enjoying undying love from the street. Apparently, it is safe to say that the street made him the Baddo that he is today. In an attempt to give back to the street, he has helped whole lots of raw talents on the street to get much-needed recognition in the music industry.Here is the list of artists Olamide has helped their career;
1.LIL KESH
He was just a street boy doing freestyles around secondary schools in Lagos before he got an encounter with Baddo with the help of his friend Viktoh. Olamide signed him up to YBNL and now Lilkesh has grown so big enough to float his own record label “YAGI” after the expiration of a successful record deal with YBNL.
2. Adekunle Gold
The year 2015 was the year Adekunle Gold started living the life of a star after Olamide Baddo got him signed up to YBNL as the only singer on the label. Today, the Sade crooner can only thank God and Olamide for what he has achieved so far in the industry.
3. YCEE
The Tinny Entertainment act, YCee came into limelight by dropping a very big hit track titled “Jagaban”. Despite this hit single, YCee was still finding it hard to sustain his newly found street love. Four months later when he remixed the song with Baddo, it becomes crystal clear to everyone that YCEE has come to stay.
4. Viktoh
Despite being widely criticised as Olamide’s worst signing, Viktoh has enjoyed much recognition in the music industry as a YBNL act before the expiration of his contract with the label.
5. DJ Enimoney
In case you don’t know, Eniola Olamilekan Adedeji widely known as DJ Enimoney is the younger brother of the YBNL Boss Olamide Baddo. As the number one YBNL Disc Jokey, the massive influence of his Big Brother, Olamide on his career cannot be under-estimated
6. Skuki
Peeshaun and Vavavoom popularly known as Skuki are two brothers joined together by blood and music. Their relationship with Baddo on tracks like Peteru, Over the mountain in 2014 and 2015 respectively has left a huge imprint on their music career.
7. CDQ
He got his big break into the music industry after a jamming collaboration with Olamide Baddo on the song “Woss wobi”. The song successfully went viral because of the presence of Baddo on it which makes it easy for fans to fall in love with the unique style of “CDQ Yeeye”.
8. Chinko Ekun
Chinko Ekun is one of the almost dying talents revived by Olamide. The hardcore yoruba rapper caught the interest of Baddo who wasted no time in signing him on to YBNL. He just got a record deal with a Dubai-based record label, Dek-Niyor Entertainment. Looking back at the start of Chinko’s career, it is safe to conclude that Olamide has indeed given him the voice of the street that he is enjoying today.
9. Davolee
This guy is another young talented rapper who just got a massive break into the music industry courtesy Olamide Baddo. Olamide has shown him road to fame in just a few weeks of getting signed on to YBNL.
Aside from dropping his debut single, festival bar, Davolee also featured in Pepper Dem Gang, a track off Olamide’s “The Glory album”. His appearance on the Album is a height many young artists would love to attain in their career.
